GPS for Mariners

GPS for Mariners is a five (5) hour course taught over two nights and includes a learning experience designed to help the recreational boater navigate with the assistance of the Global Positioning System (GPS). Those who attend GPS for Mariners receive some terrific PowerPoint support materials, and extensive hands-on instruction and practice with using a hand-held GPS receiver. Participants learn the various ways to enter waypoints, plan routes, and use a GPS receiver to navigate a planned course. All Program participants receive a handheld GPS to use for the course.


Cost: $40.00 per person

February 19th and 21st - 9am-11:30am
March 4th and 6th - 7pm-9:30pm
April 8th and 10th - 7pm-9:30pm
November 4th and 6th - 9am-11:30am
