GPS for Mariners

GPS for Mariners is a six (6) hour course taught over two mornings and includes a learning experience designed to help the recreational boater navigate with the assistance of the Global Positioning System (GPS). Those who attend GPS for Mariners receive some terrific PowerPoint support materials, and extensive hands-on instruction and practice using a provided Garmin GPS 72 hand-held GPS receiver. Participants learn the various ways to enter waypoints, plan routes, and use a GPS receiver to navigate a planned course.

January 20th and 22nd - 9am-12:00pm
February 24th and 26th - 9am-12:00pm
